Lost and Found

Alan Densmore is a failing novelist whose downward-spiraling career is driving a stake through the heart of his marriage. In an effort to repair the crumbling relationship with his wife, Lisa, he brings them to the Blue Skies Inn, a bed-and-breakfast nestled away in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. But, instead of bringing the couple closer together, the weekend getaway only delivers psychological terror. Haunting memories are traded for haunting spirits as the story unfolds in this dark novella, which is told in two parts, from two separate decades.

    1. Sorry for the confusion, Alan. We never did really make that clear. The title of The Dead Don't Play Slots actually changed to become Dead and Moaning in Las Vegas. So the book has been out for a while! We hope you enjoy it!

    2. First ever visit to this page (wow damn what a terrible fanboy I am), but I have to ask, is that title a reference to Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas?

    3. It sure is. Back when we were going to sign with Random House, the book was called The Dead Don't Play Slots. We loved the title, but once our contract fell through, we went back, changed some elements of the story, and renamed it. And we figured what better to reference zombies in Las Vegas than a nod to Fear and Loathing.

How's that for some fun fanboy trivia?

  6. BEER BOY BRYAN ~
'Demetri and the Banana Flavored Rocketship' - is the paperback version of that available ONLY through Amazon.com (a.k.a. BigBitch.com)?

I see it's advertised on Amazon, but I did a search for it on Barnes & Noble's website and on Alibris.com also, but came up empty.

Is there any other Internet bookseller where I can acquire a copy of 'Demetri and the Banana Flavored Rocketship'? Or is Amazon IT - the one and only?
