Random Black Rapper Monday

So it seems that in musicland these days, it's become 'cool' to have a very nerdy white person pair up with a random black rapper who 'busts some rhymes' into the most random white-bread song possible.
See below for examples (Rebecca Black warning):

Fast forward to 2:30 lest you want to kill your eardrums any more than you have to

Black rap at 2:50

Black rap starts almost immediately (complete with space suit!)

When Stevie Wonder sang about Ebony and Ivory, I don't think he meant he was hoping that one day the kid from Owl City (who got fat) would sing with a rapping black guy while bouncing around in space suits, but it got me thinking... couldn't we use a little more rap in our blog posts? I mean, we're as white bread as anyone. So if it takes off, I'm going to introduce a new feature in some of our future posts...
        The random black guy rapper.

Or maybe that's a terrible idea. And I'm going to hell.

Stay classy, friends,
Bryan

Mood: Optimistic
Beer: I'mma pour one out for my homie

  2. That's why in the vids the black man has to have an escape: a car, or some way to survive the void of space...your boy had no where to run in your blog.

Maybe I am a perv, or maybe I just see things where they are not (both are likely) but your neighbor looks like he is urinating on his lawn instead of using a hose. Maybe it's because his shirt is green too. Would explain the yellow grass though!

  3. I would have gone with Mr. T. He would have pitied that fool of a neighbor...

  5. give your rapper my address, I enjoy a good break down.

  6. I think you have a bright future as the next Eminem; hopefully without the skeeve factor.

  7. Maybe the black guy should be the face while the nerdy white person looms in the background for once.

  8. lol ofcourse the black dude gets arrested x)

  9. Oh God I actually genuinely laughed out loud at that. I really hope we see more of him. The less I say about todays music the better though lol. Damn I'm still laughing.

  10. You forgot the auto-tune. Every white person is calmed by auto-tune, it's like rubbing a lion's belly. Maybe not.

  11. This reminded me of Weird Al's "White and Nerdy." Check it out.

  12. That guy has some skills - though not for evading the police it seems.

And the asshole neighbour rather looks like he is on something. I feel as if his eyes are staring into my soul. Eek.

  13. I'd be very happy if you finished that rap and recorded it. Sigh. I can dream.

  14. You gods that made me man, and sway in love.

  15. Well, it was a nice try anyway. I'm sure your neighbor's daughter would be more appreciative of what you're trying to do here...

  16. Rebecca Black went to junior high with my niece. They're in the same grade, so we ended up attending Ms. Black's 8th grade promotion. It was Friday. Ha.

  17. My ears are bleeding after that first video. Your fabulous drawings made me quickly forgive you.

  18. If that really would happen, please invite the Black Eyed Peas to your neighborhood.

And tell them Fergie is a prostitute.

It's not really much of a stretch.

  20. I like the idea, and hate the music you used to illustrate.

  21. now THAT was truly outstanding.... did you draw those yourself, of get the pics off the web? i try to do stuff like that sometimes over on MY site, but i just dont have the energy to do much beyond stick figures...

  22. I agree with you, even more so with the not so favorable music you chose to illustrate your point.

  25. Find a black rapper to knock on said neighbors door. Tell him to ask the weird neighbor about the neighborhood because he's thinking about moving to your area. Maybe neighbor will pack up and move!!

  26. It does seem to be a recurring trend

  27. What would I do without your posts to cheer me up! haha. This was greatness. I am anti-random black rapper unless it actually adds to the song...and does it ever really? I mean, really?

    Hilarity...this post is pure hilarity.

  29. This post needs more Lonely Island.

Those are some seriously black rappers, yo!

  30. If I was a black rapper in a white neighborhood, I would carry an extra Muslim on me, which I'd be able to throw out in front of pursuers as a distraction...

  31. kill it with fire till it is murdered to death and bleeds for 8 days.

  32. Aw, your blog just used racial profiling. Sell some Meth and bail that rapper out!

  33. This is what I get for not reading last night. Wonderful as always my friend. I always giggle when you spend time with your wondeful creepy neighbour

    ReplyDelete
  34. Most definitely going to hell for encouraging racial diversity. Now I want someone to rap my day!

    ReplyDelete
  35. I definitely need a rap...or at least background music for my day...

  36. I think I might have peed a little when I read Sub-Radar-Mike's comment of "FREE YUNG SKREEZY." I think the next logical step is t-shirts, Bryan.

  37. I currently have an application in to be the next Wu-Tang office intern. Once I get the job I'll give RZA a shout and see if he'd be willing to step in for the part. Your neighbor would be too afraid of the WU crew to do anything. But you might have to trade in that meth factory for a grow house. They do smoke a lot of reefer.

  38. Hahah oh god... xD
Cant say anything else than, Followed!

  39. Your beer for the day should have been a 40... come on!

    ReplyDelete
  40. Haha. Dunno why but the blue background for the rapper just made it funnier for me. His performance was definitely worthy of an encore.

  44. 3rd time lucky! My comments kept getting fucked up! :/
I am quite proud to say I have NEVER heard that Rebecca Black song & I hope to keep it that way! I can't believe the music industry is pulling this random rap toss off again! They pulled this shit in the 90's too. It seems like every song released had some chick with an ok voice who would be interrupted by some dude (usually white for some strange reason) rapping 'hard core' about how he wants to 'bust a g banger up in that arse coz he didn't get his props up in oak town!?' I hope this phase passes asap! As for your random rapping black dude... I like him! Even if he is wearing a saucepan on his head! Hahaha. Once again... As always! Great post!

I like your styles of humour, it conforms perfectly with mine. (Sadly my English is not that good so my blog is written in Dutch. FML.)
