So per our last post, we're still very busy. In particular, I have a wedding to plan, which is keeping me so very busy because I'm setting it up, catering it, and my all kazoo band is going to be playing all of the cocktail music.
Okay, I made that last part up.
Now, I've been too busy to read a lot of your blogs and make as many comments as I'd like, and for that I apologize. But what I don't apologize for is Blogger making me look like an asshole.
Yesterday I read a great many of your blogs and went to make some comments, but kept getting the error message that Blogger was down. We got a good amount of comments on our last post, but now all of those are gone, and it could very well be that if I managed to make a comment on your blog, it's gone too. I tried, really. And isn't that what counts?
No? Alright, I thought so.
Anyway, today's (re)post is actually double duty. They're two strong pieces of information that everyone who reads this blog needs to know.
First off, that yes, there's two of us. We take turns posting.
Second, how one actually goes about having a beer in the shower.
So at the top of the page you might notice our cool new About Us and How to Enjoy a Beer in the Shower pages. Check them out and enjoy.
Anyways, I'll try to do some more blog reading later tonight and visit your guys' pages, but if I can't, well, you know who to blame.
It's a love/hate relationship.
Stay classy, friends,
Bryan

What a way to take advantage of a tragedy. Lol.
ReplyDeleteSchweet!
ReplyDeleteI'm in the same boat. I thought everyone up and unfollowed me... all of a sudden, I didn't get the comment emails.
ReplyDeleteThat shit was pissing me off.
ReplyDeleteof course now every time I hear crickets over at my place, im just going to tell myself the service is fucked, that I'm not unloved.

Yesterday was a tragedy to bloggers all over the world lol. It was a huge mess and it sucks all the hard work comments are gone =(
ReplyDeletei miss my comments too, and it messed up my income for the day!! grrr lol
ReplyDeleteGlad to know that I wasn't the only confused/annoyed about what happened.
ReplyDeleteIt's the first sign of the apocalypse. Which is why I decided to cover 'judgement day' on today's blog post.
ReplyDeleteIt's doomsday, y'all... hide yo kids, hide yo wife...
Well, it's fitting for a Friday the 13th...
ReplyDeleteLuckily I'm lazy and don't post with any significant degree of frequency. I know nothing of this "outage" of which you speak.
ReplyDeleteI am very glad to see your new feature detailing how to drink a beer in the shower! I'd like to think I had some influence in that, based upon the very same question I asked you eons ago. I'll have you know I've been enjoying beers with my shower ever since! Although, is it bad that I've started taking 25 showers a day?
I am still missing my last post and it was AMAZING. I know this becasue I got 3 comments before blogger crashed (not my fault I keep telling ya).
ReplyDeleteAs for beer in the shower, I much prefer wine in the bathtub.
My post reappeared, but the comments didn't. Google bastards.
ReplyDeleteNo comments for anyone. Took all but one comment away from my last post lol. Dam you blogger.
ReplyDeleteAN ABOUT PAGE?
ReplyDeleteIT'S FINALLY TIME.
Ah, the countless times I've tried to tell if it was Bryan/Brandon who was commenting on my blog. Which is why I always count it a lucky day when a reference to a fiance crops up.
Anyway, being busy is what keeps you away from pornography, blond playboy bunnies, and all things ungodly. Also, any fantasies about elbows. *COUGH*
It's a blessing in disguise.
That being said, I appreciate your comments (especially the ego boosting ones, haha) and I feel your pain. I did quite a bit of comment reposting this morning. (INSTEAD OF MASTURBATING. DAYYYYMMM.)
Mazel Tov!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I LOVE the About ME page.
ReplyDeleteGREAT JOB, guys.
very commendable work you're doing here. Im typing this from in my shower with a beer in one hand.
ReplyDeleteNice work and Sony and Blogger have ruined my days.
ReplyDeleteLOL I always really look forward to your posts!
ReplyDeletesucks it was down for so long!
ReplyDeleteI lost comments, but fortunately not posts.
ReplyDeleteNo worries! Seems like you have plenty of comments today to make up for it. :)
ReplyDeletenice post man

I'm pretty much using the comment section of all the blogs I read to say, "Fuck you, Blogger!" But, I'm gonna go that extra step for you guys and tell you that I love the new features. I almost want to ditch the vodka and start drinking beer. Almost.
ReplyDeleteBlogger was being a real bastard. I had a post in the can just itching to be released, but I couldn't even answer Comments. It was like a case of Blogging Blue Balls.
ReplyDeletewow that's impressive that you use only the thinkpad mouse-dot to do your comics. i would have purchased a usb mouse by now.
ReplyDeleteI wish my laptop talked to me. Then I could actually tell it what I really think. Fun post.
ReplyDeleteI love your blog so much! just read the new pages, I laughed so much :D you're awesome.
ReplyDeletehahaha I still love u! (and the blogger issue is over now)
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain. As a very obsessive Virgo, I feel your pain maybe twice as much. Since there are two of you writing, I might feel your pain exponentially (one hundred times your pain. Virgos are extremely good at math).
ReplyDeleteBlogger played mean tricks on me, too. I was posting successfully, then not so successfully. Readers left happy comments, then no comments at all. Sigh. Story of my life.
It was a mother of a day. Glad I am not alone in all this.
best,

ReplyDeleteThis is the best repost ever.
ReplyDelete"oh I forgot my laptop is jewish"
ReplyDeleteWell, thats the best thing I'm gonna read or see today. I'm going to bed.
Thank goodness my laptop isnt Jewish...
ReplyDeleteHahaha
ReplyDeleteawh well at least it gave us time to go out and enjoy the fresh air and sunshine....I actually spent the time watching horrible movies from my bad movie collection...buh yea...or schmuck ya
ReplyDeletewhat a poor excuse!! lol
ReplyDeleteblogger is a little bitch.
ReplyDeleteI was actually running late when Blogger went out, car broke down coming back from seeing Thor, and thought "Wow, I might not get a post up today."
ReplyDeleteIt turned out to be like work getting cancelled on the day you planned to call in sick.
HA! Is it time to jump ship and head to Wordpress? And I totally believe you, I knew I saw you creeping around my blog. ;)
ReplyDeleteGood luck with everything!
I sat down and HAD AN IDEA during the great Blogger Depression of 2011.
ReplyDeleteI need another writer. What a great idea. It also explains why sometimes the cartoon has brown hair and sometimes he has dark hair.
I am so very observant.
I was mad too! I felt better though after taking it out on the telemarketer who called shortly after I found out blogger was bending me over and giving it to me good and not in a fun way either!

seems I missed the outage. Looked like it made some powerful people very angry.
ReplyDeleteSo the blogosphere has collapsed in my absence? Oh dear.
ReplyDeleteZOMG! The beard! XDDDDD
ReplyDeleteThe same effing thing happened to me last Friday. I was all, "OH I've got spare time, read and comment, read and comment."
ReplyDeleteNO. Fuck you blogger. Denied.
So I tried to read all the people that had Wordpress blogs that I follow but the first time one of them gave me a hard time I threw my computer threw the wall and was done. I didn't really, but I wanted to.
How can I use MySQL to set up a commenting system on my website so that people can comment the blogs I write?

When you are not receiving feeds on the succeeding replies from your comment, I think it is because of the RSS being at fault.
